Location

Jay Jyoti School Guna, being located on NH-3, is well connected by road to Gwalior, Bhopal and Indore. The road is in good condition; regular bus services of State Transport Corporations and private buses ply the road frequently. All buses stop at JUET Gate on request. This distance can be covered in 4–5 hours.

It is also connected with the Western Railway’s broad gauge line of the Kota-Bina Section. Another rail link, the Guna-Maksi line, connects it to Indore and Ujjain. The total rail length in the district is about 141 km, with a route kilometer per 100 sq km of 1.27. The Guna-Gwalior section has recently opened for railway traffic, with trains available for Kota, Bina, Ujjain, Indore and Gwalior.

The nearest domestic airport is Bhopal and the nearest international airport is Delhi.

About Guna District

Guna, the gateway of Malwa & Chambal, is located on the north-eastern part of the Malwa Plateau between the Parbati and Betwa rivers. The Parbati is the main river flowing along the western boundary, touching Rajgarh District of M.P. and the Jhalawar and Kota Districts of Rajasthan. Shivpuri and Kota lie to the north, while Vidisha, Bhopal and Rajgarh lie to the south.

The total area of the district is 6484.63 sq km, with a population of about 8.5 lakh. Guna District is divided into five tehsils, with Raghogarh being the tehsil where the institute is located. It is situated on National Highway No. 3 (Agra-Bombay Road / A-B Road). From Raghogarh, Gwalior is 250 km to the north, Bhopal is 190 km to the south, and Indore is 250 km to the south. Important places in this district include Palai, Guna, Ruthiyai, Aron and Binaganj.
